Cycling Climbs of South-East England
A beautiful data visualisation and a companion piece to Simon Warren’s book – Cycling Climbs of South-East England.
Printed on museum-grade DaVinci Archival 215gsm stock using fade-free pigment inks, each climb’s data is listed both horizontally and along radiating lines, redolent of spokes. The horizontal lines chart the height gained, the radiating lines represent each climb’s distance, while the graphs represent Simon’s difficulty rating.

The artwork is heat mounted onto aluminium reinforced Kapa board to provide a high degree of stiffness. It’s then open framed and ships with a box of colour-matched pushpins, allowing you to record your climbs by pinning each one, encouraging you to “Ride them all”.
